McMillan and Life combines solid gospel music careers and ministry with years of family tradition.

Jimmy McMillan has been traveling full time in gospel music for the last ten years. His career has included time with George Amon Webster and the Heartland Boys, the Wilburns and the Toney Brothers. Eight times on the National Quartet Convention, taping Gaither videos and five Jubilee at Sea cruises are just some highlights of his years of ministry. However the local church is his favorite place to minister. Up close and personal where you can see the Lord working in real time.
Jimmy is also a prolific songwriter and numerous gospel artists have recorded his songs. He is always looking for the next song idea in a sermon, a friendly conversation or even in special time of need. After all you have to face the storm to know just what the anchor holds.

Liz McMillan is part of one of the greatest family legacies in gospel music. Her grandfather Alden Toney was the original tenor and founding member of the Toney Brothers when they began in 1955. Alden was also tenor for the Blackwood Brothers in the early fifties.
Liz grew up singing and secured formal musical training in her college years. Her professional accomplishments include time with the New Speer Revival and more recently The Lesters of St Louis, MO. Her time with these groups afforded her the opportunity to perform four times on the National Quartet Convention. In addition Liz has recorded with numerous inspirational artists including Allison Durham Speer, Mike Allen, Joy Gardner, Tonya Goodman Sykes and many others.

Josh is a songwriter and no stranger to gospel music having been part of several regional groups based out of Indiana. Josh is a native Hoosier and still lives in Ingalls, IN with his wife Alicia and their four children. Along with his love of music he enjoys playing basketball, riding his motorcycle, playing golf when he can and “shopping for suits."

In the fall of 2006 Jimmy and Liz felt the Lord directing them to leave their respective groups and form McMillan & Life. This transition would allow them to travel together as well as open doors for them to minister in new and exciting ways.
When McMillan & Life share in your service you can anticipate an honest heartfelt time of ministry, praise and music. A message of salvation, forgiveness and the hope of restoration is the heart cry of this ministry.
