Great news!!! Four weeks and counting till the release of our sophomore project "No Storm Wasted." We have been working non stop for the last month to be sure it is ready in time for the National Quartet Convention. A great selection of songs and the addition of Josh Arnett to the group is all leading to what we are trusting will be our best effort yet. Be sure to watch ordering information and get your copy.

Josh Arnett is our newest group member and a great blessing. Josh comes from Ingalls, IN where he lives with his wife Alicia, and four children. Josh joined us the first of May this year and has quickly become an integral part of our ministry. He makes friends everywhere we go and shows a strong and consistent heart for ministry as well as a willingness to serve. We are so happy to have him with us and look forward to great things with Josh as a part of McMillan & Life. Be sure to watch our schedule and emails so you can come out and meet Josh the next time we are in your area. You'll be glad you do.

Ha ha speaking of serving you........picture it........Josh and I sitting on the ground, Wal Mart parking at one in the morning, small town VA. We were staring at the blown bearings in the trailer tire hub, praying for a miracle. Fortunately Wal Mart carried enough parts to patch things up and get us to Norfolk where we could have things repaired CORRECTLY.

Really, more than anything we want to use this to give God praise! Praise, you ask? Yes praise because He watches over us and although this breakdown was somewhat of an inconvenience, He allowed it in a place where were not STRANDED and provided the answers to the problems as we NEEDED them. I will be honest and say that in the moment these may not have been my first thoughts, but they are true none the less. I can also say that before we stepped out on faith with this ministry, perhaps even in our early days as a group something like this may have panicked or devastated me. However we have watched God care for us, holding us firmly in His grip. We've seen Him bless this ministry and "handle" problems as they arise. All of this boils down to the fact that God may allow storms to come our way but He has everything in His hand and if we will look for His purpose we can live lives where no storm is wasted.

Hopefully many of you have begun receiving emails letting you know we will be in your area. We have started this in an effort to keep our friends and supporters better informed. If you are not on our emailing list yet please take a minute and sign up by emailing liz@mcmillanandlife.com . Remember we also have our new project coming in the next few weeks and we will be letting you know the minute it is available for ordering!

Planning on vacationing in Branson this year?? Remember, we will be at the Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City September 5, 6 & 7. Also we are thrilled to be appearing on the Jim Bakker Show September 4th . Jim and his wife Lori have an amazing ministry that focuses on healing and restoration. If you look at our ministry statement you will see that our purpose is the same, telling the world about the God of second chances. Looks like Branson is a great place to be in early September. Hope you can make it.

Then be sure to make plans for the National Quartet Convention   September 8-13 in Louisville, KY. This is the largest gathering in southern gospel and this year promises to be the biggest and best ever. You can get more information and see this year's lineup at www.NATQC.com   Come on to Louisville; we'll see you there.

Till next time keep looking up with a song in your heart.

Jimmy & Liz
